Description:

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center, "a little piece of the Ozarks" within Springfield, offers numerous outdoor activities as well as indoor exhibits on local wildlife. The main office is located near the Living Memorial Park, north of Lake Springfield. There are six hiking trails at the center, varying in lengths and difficulty.

Hours of Operation:

Building Open daily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Area open Mar - Oct: daily 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Nov - Feb: daily 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
