The Fantastic Caverns are the nations only "ride-through" cavern experience, as visitors are carted about on Jeep-trams to protect the vulnerable cavern ecosystem. The caverns are located just north of Springfield near Ritter Spring Park. The temperature within the Fantastic Caverns is always temperate 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
